Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Serge and my wife's name is Danielle. We have owned a Florist in Quebec city since 1982, and it has been at it's current address since 1986. We added a dairy bar (ice cream counter) in 1992. Danielle (my wife) runs that during the spring and summer. We own the building, and live upstairs. All that's missing is a garage!
We try to juggle the Florist, dairy bar, and 2 racing seasons all at once....and at times it takes a bit of creativity! The two main tracks we race at are not exactly 'local'. SANAIR is a 140-150 mile drive (one way!), and we do 12 programs there on Sundays. NAPIERVILLE is a 180 mile drive (one way also). Here we do between 15-20 programs on Saturdays. Because of the distances to compete in the programs we don't really have time for shows anymore (wonder why? hee hee). We just try to have as much fun as possible!
This car (1994 Z28-TimeLord) got over 2000 runs before the engine gave in. I can't complain too much. The best part is that the car is also what I use to do my deliveries for my florist shop! This has given me great publicity and many new clients. People want to meet the nut that delivers flowers in a Z28!!
My wife raced the van (Super Van) for 2 years, then got the yellow Beaumont. She raced that for about a year & 1/2. She sold it (for a good price) and is now back to the van.
