2002 Season::
The 2002 Season
ended on 29 September...and I lost the championship by ONE point!
:( However...there is good coming from this...I achieved 3 personal
bests!! 12.74/112.779/1.91 60ft. Here are my times: mph=112.779

Started the season pretty well at
SANAIR Intl. Raceway with a second place showing.
June 15th was supposed to be ZEKE'S
raceday but it was rained out, got to meet some great people that weekend
though [Dale, Gene, Ed [can't hold his liquor] Peter, Karen] and had a great
time anyway.
Had a couple of rain outs after that so
cooled our heals for a while [and changed my clutch]
Proceeded to pick up a new sponsor also,
SPO/F1 MIKE = Stealth Performance out of OREGON,a really terrific guy who is
taking very good care of me.
Went to SANAIR for THE meet of the year,
NATIONAL SANAIR and WON it [happy happy]
The next week was the Quebec City LEGAL
streetraces, which were quite fun [but very hot and humid] no traction, but was
good PR [hard on the tires]
The next week I killed my clutch at
SANAIR and didn't score any points.
Replaced clutch on Friday and proceeded
to do 500 miles of city driving to break THIS one in the right way.
Went to ZEKE'S raceday JULY 13th but
didn't race because of new clutch. Peter and Jeff were nice enough to lend me
their cars[2002SS & 01 Z06]to have fun with which I did. Also got a killer
deal on BFG DRs from Zeke [Thanks TERRY]
Going racing again Sunday August 4th and
hope to have fun as usual and hope to maintain the points lead once again.
went up this weekend to SANAIR[4th
August] and made the semi-finals, thus increasing my points lead coming into
the home stretch.
Still leading the points in Street
class with 3 programs left to run.
Made the money round for the first time
in my life in SEMI-PRO, went all the way to the finals but redlighted with a
-.003 light.
